IT outsourcing has been actively employed by companies for more than a decade. It has many benefits such as lower cost of development and higher resource availability. However, there are many challenges too including gaps in communication, language barriers and cultural differences, quality control, different business environment and time zones.

At Dynamix we think of outsourcing as natural extension of your teams with our resources on and off-site. We like calling it co-sourcing instead, since it better represents the nature of our services.

Contrary to traditional approach relying on large number of low-cost resources off-site, we normally form and provide small groups of highly skilled professionals at competitive cost. We have our emphasis on quality, skills and expertise of our resources rather than the number of people involved in the project. Small and agile group of 3-5 people with minimum management overhead can be much more efficient than a larger group of 20-30 people working on the same task.

Our main off-site location is in Perm, Russia and our main outsourcing clients are in the United States. Among others, with work our strategic outsourcing client H & R Block, the leading tax and financial services company in the US. We try to keep optimal ratio between on-site and off-site resources for each project, 1 to 5 on average. This way way we eliminate communication gaps and improve overall efficiency while keeping the cost relatively low.

Our effective infrastructure combined with high availability of communication services in Russia make resource allocation easier and more transparent. It doesn't matter that much where the resources are located physically, it matters more what they are capable of.

We would like to be actively involved in projects far beyond simple delivery of tasks given. We may often offer alternatives or suggestions that may benefit business goals of the project, and not blindly act as order-takers. Software development is what we do and what we like.
